Julie Blichmann Photography was founded in 2002, focusing on Fine Art Photography. What began as a passion for capturing landscapes across the U.S. soon became an ongoing journey of exploration and love for our National Parks.
Over the years, I’ve been honored to have my work juried into several exhibitions and featured artist showcases, including:
I earned my Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designation from the Professional Photographers of America in 2021, and I continue to pursue advanced techniques and further credentialing through PPA to elevate both my craft and my client experience.
In early 2024, I began volunteering for Pawsitively Jefferson County, a local Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate & Return (TNVR) program for feral and community cats. You might notice a few cats in the gallery with a "tipped" ear. That is the method of allowing spayed or neutered cats to be identified from a distance. I also have created a personal project for the group titled "The Pawsitively Tipped Ear Gang of Jefferson County." You will find some of these creations in the Whimsical section of the gallery.
In 2025, I expanded my creative services to include custom illustrative art, offering clients one-of-a-kind pieces created from individual reference photos. Whether photorealistic or artistic in style, the images are designed to be lasting tributes, especially meaningful for those with pets who can’t participate in a traditional photo session.
